| I know what you mean
about keeping a
family vacation a
actual family
vacation , some ways
to do this is to
plan activities that
will focus on the
family and do not
fill a vacation to
full with
activities, You need
some time to relax
and just talk with
the family, Get away
from taking along
friends on this
trip. You have all
year for the kids to
be distracted by
friends and likewise
for dad and mom to
be distracted by
work and household
chors. Get away from
it all and have FUN
being a family, talk
laugh and play where
ever you go.

| This resort was
recommended highly
by co-workers and a
family member. My
husband and I so
looked forward to
our trip. It was the
first holiday
without our children
in 15 years. Time to
regroup and
decompress. The only
positive we found
was the breathtaking
beach. The staff
were not warm and
welcoming in the
least! and Yes we
tipped alot.! The
food was gruesome.
As another traveller
so eloquently stated
recycled. But it
gets even better.
Just let me say we
never went anywhere
outside of the
resort and
faithfully drank
bottled water. Now
it's up to you to
join the dots. My
husband became so
violently ill he was
hospitalized. I
travelled home alone
to care for our
children while he
remained in Punta
Cana recouperating
for a week. If it
had not been for our
extensive medical
insurance this could
have been a
financial disaster
as well. The stress
we experienced was
overwhelming. I
discourage anyone
from booking with
this resort. If you
do I strongly urge
you to buy
exstensive t
ravel
insurance.

stayed at the
Ravenwood Motel for
2 nights. Wonderful
stay. We had a full
kitchen, master
bedroom and 2 queen
size futon/couch's
in the living room.
very very clean. i
am picky about
clean. it was very
clean and very
homey. it was so
peaceful, and quiet,
and so much to do in
the area as far as
hiking, beaches,
nature kind of
stuff. bring your
own food, because
there isnt really
anywhere to buy
decent food. we had
a wonderful peaceful
time here, and would
definately stay
again, but hopefully
a longer trip next
time. great value
for what you get. |
